Critical Butts

I NEVER POST HERE I honestly just kind of forget about it a lot, haha-

Have I even posted here that I'm living in my first apartment? That happened... like three months ago now... orz

On the art tip, my tablet pen is still fuckbusted. Dad did order me a new one (he said he'd get me a new one for my 21st birthday after the eraser end broke... then for Christmas... and now I'm 22), so I should have that soon enough. In the meantime I've actually been doodling a lot lately. Sketching a ton. Practicing anatomy, largely, because I suck so hard at it. And I still do, haha, but at least I'm getting a smidgen less atrocious with muscles. (Occasionally my men actually look like men, now! Wowies!)

But otherwise, I'm just workin' and sleepin'. Just thought I'd let you all know-



PS- I'm hoping to get a 360 Live account sometime this month or so. What's your tags, fellow 360 owners? WE CAN PLAY BEAUTIFUL KATAMARI TOGETHER FOREVER.

Life and all that crazy crap

Uwaaahhhh, so I just deleted what... sixteen old pics off of here? You won't miss 'em. Not even so much that the pictures were bad (okay, "Chibi Glomp" was pretty abysmal- in content at least), as that I sound like a horrible weeaboo in the comments. And dear sweet crap I would like to maintain this faulty image in my head that I was a TOTALLY OKAY HIGH SCHOOL ANIME FAN. (Which I wasn't. I don't think anyone is. IT'S UN-POSSIBLE!)

Oh crap, I don't come across like that now, do I? I haven't used the word "glomp" since 2005 so I think I'm pretty safe. I pray.

Also- don't really go expecting to see anything from me any time soon. My tablet pen broke (fml) and I don't really want to get another one until I have a job. (Same goes for a scanner, natch.) And I DESPERATELY need a job, since I've recently acquired an apartment with two friends! It's my first place, so I'm pretty damn pumped. We move in on the 20th. But, I'm broke. Awesome. Jobs are hard to find, orz

Also, to the interest of likely none of you; I may start watching G Gundam again. Because I was reading the Wikipedia article on it last night (a winner is me) and it got me so excited (BLOOD AND ADRENALINE RUSHING THROUGH MY VEINS IN A MOST MANLY FASHION)... I think it would be fair to add it to the HIGH PANTHEON of my FAVORITE ANIMUS EVAR (Samurai Champloo, possibly Samurai 7. Samurai anachronism, samurai anachronism, GIANT KUNG FU MECH.) (This paragraph needs more RANDOMLY INTERSPERSED CAPSLOCK!) (!!) (!!!)

You know how sometimes the ammonia in hair dye smells like cat piss? That's what my sister's apartment smells like.

Fucking gross.

So pissed at her. I haven't eaten in two days because of her, and then she finally comes back with chinese food, but didn't even bother to ask what I'd eat. Not this, of course.

I just finished watching Samurai 7, and it was 800 kinds of fuckawesome. (Kambei is fuckawesome. Everyone is fuckawesome. I cried at the end and it was fuckawesome.) I'll ask here instead of my LJ, because this is possibly relevant to the interests of some of you guys on here? So I'm asking you.

Apparently I fucking love anachronistic samurai stuff. Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo... so anyone have any rec's for other shows/movies/games whatever? I already have Afro Samurai, but have yet to watch/play it. Even rec's for anything with the same kind of vibe. Doesn't have to be anachronistic samurai. Just kickass shit with fighting and kicking and it'll make me all excited and happy and draw pointy lines and colors. Kung fu movies? Anything like that. Advance danke!
